I look around
at the many people that I come into contact with everyday and
I'm wondering why are so many people trying so hard to be something
else other than themselves. I'm guilty of this too, it's just that
thought in my head that once you figure out you've made a mistake, why
continue it?
If you find yourself doing
something that you've been drawn into by the media, your friends, your
family, or anyone else in your peer group stop and ask yourself is this
something I really, truly, actually want to be doing? Ask yourself what
it is that you really want to do and be and go in that direction rather
than the fabrication and/or pressure from peers and media.
Another hard thing you must do
is try to stay positive in all situations and don't give up on choices
you've made. Stick with your decisions and keep a constant positive
road map for yourself. Don't just become a quitter. If you quit once
just to quit then you'll do it again, and again, and again. Don't
become a quitter.
