According to http://www.ecobridge.org/content/g_cse.htm these are the causes of Global Warming!
Carbon Dioxide from Power Plants
I do not know when and how we started building power plants. However, this advancement in our society has turned out to have negative effects. We are one of the few countries that are priviledged to have electricity at all times. Most of the U.S. carbon dioxide come from these plants that are burning fossil fuel for electricity. So, where do we go if we did not have electricity?
Coal, and other natural gases also release huge amounts of carbon dioxide.
Carbon Dioxide Emitted from Cars
According to the article U.S. 20% of the carbon dioxide is caused by cars. Cars with low milage are one of the biggest contributors to this number. So, heres what we should do....stop driving!!
Carbon Dioxide from Trucks
About 13% of the U.S. carbon dioxide emission are caused by commercial trucks. So stop being so materialistic and learn to make your own things. No more commercial trucks!
Carbon Dioxide from Airplanes
3.5 % of the carbon dioxide emission comes from Airplanes. I mean we lived without airplanes once, and we can definitely do it again.
Carbon Dioxide from Buildings
12 % of carbon dioxide emission come from building structures. I do not know how or why. But, now that you know stop living in buildings and start building huts.
These are the causes of Global Warming due to carbon dioxide. As you can notice with the advancement of society and technology, we have begun to hurt the environment that protects and saves us. I do not know the solutions, since most of these things are now a necessity to life. I want to hear what you think about the world we stand in today.

First of all, checking the source (of the source of the source, very diluted information), many and or most of these global warming "statistics" are quite biased- often on political standpoints and targeted as such for the sole purpose of the reaction these people know they will receive by giving out such numbers. Many and most articles are the same in this way.
Exageration and emotional catch-phrases are often the best hook-line and sinkers of an audience, so when reading there are a few things to keep in mind:
1. From who and where is this information coming from?
2. Is the argument or point of this article mostly emotional? How much of it is actually proven with evidence, wholesome logic, and consistency?
3. Be sure to always check an opposing souce with as open a mind as you can. Perhaps something was "overlooked" (left out) in the first article; at the very least an opinion or decision will be better made, well thought, and fully rounded.
