Gas prices

What is the deal with people today? Do many Americans even know what they are doing? These are many questions that people should be asking themselves as of today. In real life look at many Americans, how do you think they can afford all these high gas prices? For instance look at all these celebs saying that they know how it is for us, personally I don't think they even know how hard it is to live in the American economy as of today. Many people that are way up there in the economy are living life without a worry. Then just look at all of the middle class and low class and you will then see how hard it is for us to just go to work. Many Americans in this category are asking themselves this question, should I spend money on food for my family and i or should I pay all these outrageous gas prices to go to work and get the money to actually live? Some even ask this question, can I do this anymore? I'm just so tired and I can't do this all by myself but I have to do it for my family and its just hard. I know that I'm probably bouncing around in this whole blog but isn't all of this really the truth when you honestly think about it and battle out all those thoughts in your head. What I think about all of this is that the President should get the balls to actually try to decrease the prices of gas because I know he can but he is just too chicken to even try.

Well, the President tried to lower gas prices by drilling in Alaska. That was shot down; bet those people regret doing that. (FYI, I was one of those people who disagreed with drilling in Alaska, and despite high gas prices, I stand by that.)

A lot of Americans need to realize we have some of the cheapest gas in the world. The US is among the top oil producing nations in the world (in the top 10) but, since we use so much, we're still forced to import huge quantities of it. Countries which get ALL of their oil from foreign sources are the ones who should be complaining. Gas prices in Europe have been higher than American prices for quite awhile. Now, I haven't been to Europe in years, and the last time I was there I was too young to drive anyway. Anybody here know for sure just how much Europeans are paying these days?

I think that the answer to our woes is not lowering gas prices, but battling inflation and government interference in the economy. Everyday, the Federal Reserve orders up more and more currency to be printed to pay their bills, which lowers the value of all of our money, and the economy suffers.
