Nick Clooney, the reporter, and George Clooney, the actor, father and son were in Darfur documenting their travels and travails that they shared with the victims of the Darfur Genocide.
Today, there is a genocide going on in Western Sudan and soon, it will be too late for the victims. Not only will thei rnumbers have diminished -having gone into refugee status or dead-, but they will be psychologically scarred for life. The children who watch their parents die, and the parents who watch their children die will carry this black taste of death unless we implement and support our own government policies/regulations AGAINST the Sudanese Arab government.

This is so sad.good video I love George Clooney!!!! I cant believe this is all happening.~<3~Love and be loved!~<3~
Especially if you think about how lucky he was to grow up with a father who brought him into critical thinking and into journalism and citizen reporting!
Everytime I think about it, he is a representative of American, because he is intelligent, inspiring, beautiful on the inside and out.
It's sad that it takes celebrities such as George Clooney to generate any mainstream attention to Darfur, but I'm glad that he's getting involved and bringing that attention. We'd think that a genocide has the power to bring attention to itself.
He has quite a few video blogs, and well, they're full of information.
And about celebrity spotlights; everytime I look at those anemic/anoxeric teen celebrity stars, I feel disgust that they have such power and position and beauty and they abuse it- they are as unfortunate as the anorexic and sad children of Darfur.
I am glad someone decided to write about this, it has been going on and been ignored for too long. Thank you.
