One of the greatest things you can do in life is to teach something truthful and useful to someone.

The upper division in Secondary Education in Miami-Dade College is becoming very interesting. I took three pedagogy courses to get in it: Diverse Population, Technology in Education and Introduction to Education. Now, we are required to do keep a portfolio, like the one's architecture students do. My pedagogy courses for this semester are in the upper division: Educational Psychology and Science Methods I.

I'd like to share something that's becoming very interesting to me: the famous contributors of our educational system. We have natural scientists, philosophers, behavioral scientists, professors, teachers and business people as our illuminati. The last thing I worked on was Behavioral Theorists. These people observed human behavior and we educators use their books filled accountable ideas to predict, control and better understand students. Don't be scared by the word control. By control, I mean keeping the students happily concentrated on their work.

Classroom management is another course where teachers learn how to keep students engaged. There's a lot of legal studying going on this program; so, if you are interested in going into law or political science, you might consider taking education courses.
Livetext.com has become our on-line portal and we are very pleased with its performance. Livetext is a website where you keep, submit and share your assignments on HTML based formats. It has Labels that remind me of yahoo e-mail folders. It comes with educational videos for an extra $10 or $20.

If you want to learn more about our Behavior Theorists make a table with their names, photos and something about them. Maybe you'd like to read about Albert Bandura, Edwin Ray Guthrie, Richard J. Herrnstein and/or Clark L. Hull. Biographies can be a lot of fun and these are the people that affect our lives and the future.
