Can I really be mad?

Lately, in my life I have been through lots of changes the past 2 weeks. Most of them have made me really angry. My pastor has often told us that it is ok to be angry; just be angry and sin NOT!

Do you think that this is really possible?

Of course it's possible not to act on your anger. People do it every day. Its natural to experience emotions such as anger. And there are many healthy ways of relieving that emotion: go for a jog, hit a punching bag, etc..

Yes, just don't bottle that up because you'll turn out worse. For example I used to bottle it up a bit and then i'd just explode on the wrong person or overreact. I hospitalized a kid who did start with me but said the wrong thing at the wrong time, his face was pretty bad and he had bruised ribs.

Write everything down in a journal. Preferable one with a hard cover so you can slam it shut and keep the anger inside the journal instead of you. I know it's corny, but sometimes it does help.

anger is healthy.
if it weren't for my being angry all the time; i would probably be a hermit and lay on a bed of flowers humming a tune, also known as lazy.
anger gets things done, and it lets you know you need to say something to someone. tell them they bother you. change something. you need to get off your bum and kick someone else's!!
