Once upon a time there was a little girl named Jessica. Jessica lived with her mother and her father. She was an only child. The father was an avid alcoholic and her mother was a pill popper. She was only eight years old and already, she had signs of major depression. She felt like she had no where to go and no one to talk to. She wore long sleeves and makeup to cover up the bruises and the scares. Her teacher was not stupid. He could see the scares and at times, the bruises too. But he did not care. He just ignored it. He ignored it just like everyone else in Jessica's life. One day Jessica was just minding her own business when she heard screaming. She ran into the living room to see that her father had a gun to her mother's head.
"Stop it" she yelled. Her father then turned the gun on her. Her mother ran and jumped on her father. She and her father fought fist to fist for about ten minutes. Her mother was a strong woman. Finally, her mother was able to ply the gun out of his hands. She then held the gun on her father. Jessica could not think of anything to do. She ran outside into the yard and started screaming. Three people opened their blinds to see what was happening, but no one came to her rescue. A few seconds later you heard one gun shot and then another. Her mother shot her father and then turned the gun on herself. This is what happens when no one listens to children.

Sadly this does happen a lot not only to abused kids but to women too. the on lookers look at the situation as this: They are not in the situation and that person put themselves in that situation.Others say that they do not want to get into it because they don't want anyone to come after them. Last but not least others don't either care or are afraid to say something. Yes. It's very sad.
Please read my lastest blog and rate it. If you leave a comment great . If you don't thats ok. But at least rate it please. Thanks. I even provided the link.

Teachers are MANDATED reporters. Once you enter the profession you are expected to report signs of abuse or neglect to the proper authorities, even if you only suspect it.
why do people choose to ignore somebody, especially a child? thats horrible.~}chatiks si chatiks{~
