Toddler found abandoned near busy intersection!!!

Tagged:  •

A twenty month old baby boy was left alone NEAR a busy intersection in today. Two local witnesses have found him in the middle of the street drinking an Arizona Tea. Who would leave their child, their most precious resource, and gift in the middle of the street on a busy intersection by himself. I heard people talking about it, saying that it was probably some type of accident, but how do you "ACCIDENTALLY" loose, leave and forget about your child, especially one as cute as the one in question and not be loosing your mind trying to find him. If the parents felt as if they could no longer care for the child, they could've taken their child to the police station, hospital or a foster care service instead of abandoning their child, especially in the middle of a busy intersection where anything could happen to the child. I think it's rediculous, I think that when people get ready to have children they should really sit down and think about wether they are mentally, physically, psychologically and financially prepared to do so ... Now that poor child is in foster care where he belongs and by the GRACE OF GOD, he is still alive and unharmed.. People we have to take responsibility for the things that we do, IF YOU choose to have sex, use protection and if you choose not to, take responsibility for your actions, and take care of your children. Point blank if you can barely take care of yourself, or if you know you are not ready for a child consider adoption, consider latex, polyurathane, or sheep skin condoms, vaginal rings, birth controls pills or patches, being a surrogate parent for a family that cannot have children ... but DO NOT ... PLEASE DO NOT ABANDON YOUR CHILDREN, AND YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES AS A PARENT! GOD HAS TAKEN THE TIME OUT TO GIVE YOU ONE OF THE GREATEST GIFTS THAT YOU CAN EVER RECEIVE and you Throw it away ... like some scrap paper... What is that??  How can you do that and live with yourself?? Honestly ... what the hell!!!!???

I fail to see how being a cute kid should make the situation any different than if one were an ugly kid. What the child looks like should have no bearing here. I would like to know if the child was actually abandoned or if he or she wandered off. Kids do that sometimes. That doesn't necessarily make one an unfit parent. Goddess knows, my autistic cousin ran off more times than I can count (and more often than not did so completely naked and made a point of running right down the middle of the road). There are two sides to every story.

And on a completely different note, sometimes the best thing a parent can do for a child is to give him or her up. And I don't mean abandoning the child on the side of the highway or whatever.
