Why am I only able to find people who want to make excuses, insted of taking responsibility for their misconduct? When is it alright to shrug off your own responibility's weight, & start 'pointing fingers'!? Aparently, I missed the day at kindergarden when they show you how to 'pass the buck', or everyone else have been taking night classes. What do you suppose triggers people to pass the problem onto you? What possesses them to become completely blind to their shortcomings & start fingering other things blindly!? For instance..

People start claiming that President Bush is doing a terrible job, just because they can't get enough welfare to buy food for their family. This is actually rational IF...

1. They couldn't provide a service to obtain money.

2. They couldn't find a job.

3. That job was paying too little to sustain them.

Now, I still find individuals that have a true problem. They would indeed have the right to gripe & complain & seek help to futher their cause. BUT, if they are just to lazy to even look for a job, that's just plain insanity & retardation *figuritively*.

So when is that line reached in this situation? When is it okay to complain & try to fix others insted of fixing your own problems?

Situation number two.

A person finds themself convicted of a crime he/she commited, when should it be o.k. to start pointing fingers at a corrupt government? This course should be taken IF...

1. They were wrongfully accused of commiting the crime.

2. The goverment was bribed into giving the sentence.

It should be simple. Why can we always find something to point to, insted of accepting the fact that we can't be God?

Now what if that convict's situation or enviroment was 'forcing' him/her into his/her actions? Would it not still be the individual's responsibility?! How can anyone say, "It's not my fault," if they did it? Can motive reduce the weight of such an action? But surtainly that person still had to be the one committing the action, eitherwise they didn't commit it!

Somehow, I still can't fathom what possess a person to shrug off responsabilities.

*Disclaimer* I am NOT oviously tryig to support anything, but my convictions in the realm of "shared responsibility". To me, sharing is first 'owning up' to what we 'owe'. Only then can we help others 'own' theirs.

people do need to take responsibility for their actions. i can't front. this is so true.

Welfare is but one of the many reasons that people say Bush is doing a horrible job, open your eyes! Take a look around, can you name an instance where he's done a good job?

As for offenders taking responsibilities for their crimes can you please give me an example of when this happens? Just implying that it does isn't really enough, I want to fully understand you.

I am not saying anything more than just this.
"People (you & me) like to 'name call' & point at president Bush & his faults, but we never own up to our own."

How many times do criminals try to excuse their crimes because "I had a troubled childhood" or "I was desperate. I couldn't find a job." This excuse is used all of the time when people plead "insanity". What nonsense. If their childhood caused them to do what they did, why doesn't everyone who had a troulbed childhood do the same thing.

As far as president Bush goes, I don't like his spending habits, but he has done an excellent job in the war on terror. He stands for something. The democratic party stands for nothing. Or rather, they stand for whatever the latest polls indicate is popular. Principle is probably his greatest merit.

why wouldn't every slum dweller become a thug? Or every kid that lived like Albert Einstien, being ridiculed as a retarded, become a well respected genius? It's so simple, we choose what we do, we are swayed yes! But the choice is always ours.

"Promoting the general welfare" is in the preamble to the constution. We pay taxes so that the government can provide services to us. There's no other reason.

But when should we allow ourselves to only look at the goverment's faults & skip over our own?

Ashes to ashes dust to dust, all shall return to the captian crunch.

I find it funny because he has actually increased welfare spending in some areas while increasing pork spending at the same time. Yet people blast him for not doing enough for welfare, I personally am aganist welfare in its current form, I prefer the system of welfare Germany currently has.

It's funny of some people don't take responsibility and blame Mexicans for not finding a job. Everywhere I look there are jobs signs. How many apply? People blame video games for "making them kill others" I can't understand why.

Anyone seen South Park movies? It's like when the moms say: "Blame Canada!" Who is at fault? The shows or the parents who don't take care of their kids?

Part of Song: (how our parents feel)

"times have changed,
Our Kids are getting worse!
They wont obey their parents,
They just want to fart and curse!
should we blame the government or blame society?
Or should we blame the images on TV?
NO! blame canada, blame canada
with all their beady little eyes
an' flapping heads so full of lies
blame canada, blame canada
we need to form a full assault, its canada's fault"...

People at our age need to start taking responsibilities. It is hard to find mature, responsible people these days.
