On The Storm Front [Halo 3]

For all those who don't know, or don't play video games that often, Halo 3 is probably the biggest game release of the year.  The Halo series has enraptured video gamers everywhere for its awesome graphics and great first-person shooter play.  But perhaps its most popular characteristic is its unparalleled multiplayer mode, which has yet to be rivaled by any other game except for maybe Counter-Strike source or Team Fortress Source on PC.

I recently read a blog written by a female member in which she stated that she didn't understand what Halo was about and why her brother (among others) was addicted to it, and what made it so popular.  The Halo series, as I said before, is a revolutionary development in multiplayer and first-person shooter gaming.  By far, the most addicting aspect of the game lies not in the single player or co-op. campaign, but in all the different multiplayer modes (i.e. split-screen, system-link, and xbox live).  Here in the mulitplayer environment of Halo, players can pit their skills against each other in free-for-all's or objective style gaming (i.e. capture the flag, king of the hill, ect.).  Being a veteran of Halo myself, I can vouch for the awesomeness of the multiplayer gaming mode.  From Halo(1) to Halo 3, the multiplayer mode is what has kept the games so popular, and its fans waiting for new ways of fighting, and implementing their skills against their opponents.

I know that many of you who read this blog do not know what the Halo series is or is about.  For the storyline and a good overview click on the link below or paste it into your browser:
