As the school years comes close to an end everyone is preparing for testing or finals. But what some teachers at my school don't realize is that AP tests are going on right now! Take for example my English teacher assigned a bunch of reading work and writing assignments fully realizing that the AP History exam is Friday and the Chemistry exam on Wendsday which is supposed to be the hardest test in High School. Her excuse is just because your in an AP class you can take the extra work load. Which is crazy because she has never given us so much work to do in so little time. As with my Pre-Calc class, more work and less time to learn it. The other classes being Chem and History have lightened the work load for the tests. Which all of us are very greatful for. Now instead of studying for the test I'm doing Homework and reading. What will happen to us AP people next year when we take more? Hopefully not this.

The sole purpose of AP classes is to prepare you for college. And trust me, in college, none of your professors care about other tests that you have. To them, their class is the most important. My advice to you: rather than complaining about the constant barrage of school work at the end of the semester, learn to control your time better so you will be prepared for the dreaded "finals week" in college.
Man, I'm glad my teachers lighten the load during the AP weeks. I'm assuming you're a Junior... and I'll tell ya- Junior year was by far the hardest for me with all the AP classes and work. It got better senior year tho, at least for me. Good Luck on exams!
Good luck with your AP tests, they are some of the hardest tests in high school!
Man, I am glad i never took AP courses we had enough work in CP but then agian our CP teacher was the same as the AP teacher so we did the same work only they got a better gpa for it
You were the one who decided to take AP courses. If you can't take the consequences, don't do the crime.
Be nice. I took a couple AP classes to learn more in the subject and because I was bored in regular class. I had one class that was not an AP class where I had to study five minutes and I would get 100% on my test. I think I ended the class with a 106.5% due to extra credit on the final.
Oh, by the way...the U.S. History test was really hard. My AP teachers all cut back on workload for the tests. I sure wish they would have done that for the ACT last Saturday.
well if u go to a college that has a million people, of course a teacher isnt going to care how many exams u have. but exams in college are scheduled in certain time slots anyway, and the syllabus tells u ahead of time anyway. i dont know why people bother with AP classes, some colleges don't accept them either. so if i were you i wouldnt take any AP classes unless you know the college you go to is going to accept them. and depending on what college you go to, college is a joke. my school is like high school all over again, except you live on campus. this is coming from a college junior btw.
my college is considered medium sized, so my teachers do give a crap about life, schedules and things like that.
