I was a bit upset last Saturday because it took me 2 hours to get home. The Denver Police Department closed off all main exits on my part of town so I was bumper to bumper on I-25 until I found an exit to go home. I was pissed! 2 hours! And putting gas prices into consideration fueled my anger more! I didn't blame the Police. The reason to blame were all those cruisers who drive around with Mexican flags on their cars. It's not even a celebration of Mexico. Most of the people out there didn't even know what happened on Cinco De Mayo. It's all more of a mating ritual. Yeah, I said it! Everybody was out there acting like a bunch of animals!
But after thinking about it for awhile I figured we might as well let them celebrate in honor of Mexico. It was one of the few battles they ever won.
