This week we've seen the democratic and republican presidential debates. Seems that everywhere I look people keep ask, who is gonna be the next leader cause we don't have a good leader now.
The funny or sad part however you look at it is that those leaders are dead. Dead and replaced by politicians whos only goals are to make themselves and the party stronger, not the country. It's sad really. We no longer have leaders of the free world but politicians of the free world running our country. Hillary, Obama, McCain, Guiliani and the others are not leaders. "Oh but yes they are." No, they will try to get laws passed that will get them more votes and make people vote for them in the next election and for their political party. They're not; contrary to popular belief trying to make the country better....that comes after they get the votes they need to keep them and their party in office.
We need leaders and statesmen in this country not more politicians. But those people running for the presidency are not going to be leaders, they are just more of your run of the mill politicians, who want power, and are looking out for themselves before the country.

I understand where you are coming from, but you never know....one of these quacks may actually surprise everyone, and do a good job at something other than popularity.
But, Let me say this....We the people are our leaders. We have been taught by others from the past to learn how to lead ourselves. All we need to do is do it and stop looking for others to take charge.

Every one of the Presidential hopefuls for 2008 are elected officials. They were elected into office by the people. So don't blame them. They are really just doing what is expected of them. They all have ideas as to what the ideal president should be like (And then there's Hillary and Obama...they're just there to stir things up a bit j/k), and they are vying for your votes so that can try to accomplish that. If you have a problem with the candidates that are running, complain about the people who voted them into their current offices...Not the candidates themselves.
Let's just all be happy that Bush will be out of office in a year or so. Please?

I agree. We are the ones who put these people in office... well... that's what they tell us. Granted there have been some suspicious activities surrounding the last presidential election, but it is still supposed to be a election by the people for the leader of their choice. Now if we could just get it to work that way...

I do complain to the people, they just seem to bullshit around like politicians.
That is all so now I take a bow.
