In an ideal world, we would not be able to discourse and discuss any of our differences, and would, like the distant cousin, Ape, sit in cordial groups and snack on each other's mites.
But, fortunately, that isn't the case, and we deal with an exciting environment of communication and appreciation of people that surprises us all with its diversity.
For example, we'll see the commentators on CNN discussing the trade off of our docks with the UAE shipping conglomerate. Instead of taking the views of people who know every detail of the deals and the controversy, they identify with "Joe, from Underwood, Alabama," and end the segment with his diatribe on how blah,blah,blah Arab countries will bring terrorists to our Country, which makes sense just as much as the whole garbunkled deal did.
