Wal-Mart and their great relationship with employees' and China

Wal-mart has one of the biggest chains of stores stretching across America. The founder Sam Walton, would be rolling around in his grave if he knew just how bad Wal-Mart has become. The problem is the greedy CEO Lee Scott, who doesn't do anything besides destroy the lives of Walmart employees'.

Employee's who work at Walmart in America have WAY better working conditions than those in China. But still, when working at Wal-mart in America the employees' do not get adequate healthcare coverage. The remaining member's of the Walton family and Lee Scott can afford to give EVERYONE who works at Wal-mart Benefits, healthcare, and even afford to give better working conditions to the employee's in China, and still have billions left over.

Also Wal-mart does not care about their customer's safety once they leave the building.

We wonder why so many toys and merchandise that comes from China is contaminated, or has malfunctions. The chinese workers are made to work 12 hour days 7 days a week. When working this much you are likely to make mistakes.

I watched the movie Wal-mart The high cost of low prices. On Youtube.com it has clips 1-11 of the movie. I would post all he clips here but this would take up alot of the blogging space. Just go to Youtube.com, type in Walmart high cost of low prices and it will bring up videos that have (1-11) at the top.

The chinese workers have to lie to inspectors who come to look at working conditions in the factory in China and tell them what they want to hear. They are given fake paystubs.They have been taught this, and have to lie or they will be fired or punished.

A factory worker who is 21 years old wanted to give her family a better life, so she went to a bigger city to work at the Wal-mart factory. There she meet her boyfriend. He works at the new factory and gets off work at 7 in the morning. The factory offers a dorm to stay in. Even if they chose not to stay in the dorm and live on their own, the rent is still deducted from their paycheck. The factory says that they won't deduct the utilities from the paycheck. (oh how nice of them. They shouldn't have to pay rent if they aren't living there) If they live in the dorm not only is the rent deducted but also the utilities and it is charged by how much they use.

They work day and night just to make 3 dollars a day. Watch the video it brought tears to my eyes.

Something needs to be done about Wal-mart and especially the Wal-mart factory in China. I hope this brings a new view of Walmart and how corrupt they really are.
