As females, we tend to think men and women should be equal right? "Anything a man can do a woman can do." Do you think men feel the same way about the things women can do? Well thanks to modern science, the score will be evened out. Have you guys heard about the man who's six months pregnant? Well get this....he's not really a man at all. Well, legally he is because he has a penis, but once upon a time, he was a woman. When he had the surgery done, he kept his ovaries, phillopian tubes, etc, so technically, he's still able to concieve a child. At first I was skeptical, but guess what! THERE'S PROOF! Thomas Beatie, "the man" in question, was a guest on Oprah the other day and he got an ultrasound! I feel sorry for the unborn child. Parents are embarrasing enough, but now a kid will have to say my mom is a man? Kids are cruel and I just know that the little boy or girl will the laughing stock of the school. I take that back. The laughing stock of the world. Articles (and clearly blogs) are being seen and written all around the world. I dont think the effect this would have on the newborn child was taken in to consideration by the "man" or huis wife.
This situation is very strange. And unfortunately the child will suffer. But if that woman wanted to be a man so bad don't you think she shouldve taken all her woman stuff out? Yea, God did not intend for that to happen.

I'm sure that the legal woman in the relationship will assume the role of the mother, and I don't see why the child would feel the need to tell everyone the whole story unless he or she chooses to do so.

the child wont have to tell anyone the story. the man's name and picture are all over the internet and all in the newspapers. im sure that once the child is born, another story will be made to cover that. so the child really has no say so as to whether people know the story.

As strange as it might be, am sure there is someone out there whose going to follow the same foot steps, so I don't think the child we'll be the laughing stock for long and will soon be something normal. I was suprised to hear the news, he didn't prove that what a woman can do a man can do because he was a woman at birth.
