It seems like everyday we see something on the news about school shootings. School is one of the places that you are supposed to feel very safe at but now that things are changing and many people are getting killed at school, people don't feel safe anymore. Violence is everywhere and it truly needs to be stopped. Sometimes I go to school and wonder if I will leave school alive. What is the world coming to these days? Now young people are being more violent than ever. People always like to you violence to solve their problems and they end up killing themselves and taking other people's lives as well. I feel so bad when I hear about these recent colleg shootings. Innocent were killed and my heart goes out to the families of the victims at NIU and those at Virginia Tech. All of this should never have happened. People just don't like to solve their problems the old fashion way. What's wrong with talking? There is always someone to talk to no matter if you know them or not. Violence is NOT the answer. Violence only makes things worse and I don't understand why there is war. Fighting over oil? That makes me upset but thats another topic. It's just that people don't feel safe anymore no matter where they go and school should be the last place for anyone to feel in danger.

People have always been violent, kids are just as violent as ever however now kids are letting out their anger in acts of violence instead of through constructive means.
Unless you count mowing down people constructive cuz it does lower the population, but I don't condone mowing people down to lower population.
