Why is interracial dating still frowned upon by so many people? Some people view it as turning against one's race or falling in love with someone for other reasons besides love. It's so ridiculous to hear Asian women being told not to date blacks or black women getting mad when black men date a white woman and they ask You couldn't find a good black women. You left me for the white girl. Or when you hear certain groups of people date other groups of people so they can date a person with money. This is crazy. Is it hard to entertain the idea that maybe two people of a different race, ethnicity, nationality, or whatever may actually fall in love with each other and have true love?Does it matter if the Puerto Rican wants to date the Dominican Republican or if the German dates the Jew, the latter being an extreme example.
Another thing I hate is when people say that they are afraid that one day everyone will be mixed and races will die out, blah blah. There is nothing wrong with being mixed. And there is nothing wrong with interracial dating.

I've never understood the problem with interracial dating. As far as I'm concerned, ethnicity should be no reason for people not to date. It amazes me that as recently as a few years ago, Bob Jones University had a policy barring interracial dating. It frightens me that people can be so bigoted.
(if you can't see the fnords they won't eat you)
Please date your own race folks - Have you ever considered that the children of mixed race parents are often cursed with stares from people and must live with confusion as to their own identity – and yes I speak from experience. I wouldn’t wish it on anyone – so think of the children’s lives.
There's more to it than skin color but many overlook because they lack the facts - The disproportionate representation of black Americans in the U.S. criminal justice system is well documented. Blacks comprise 13 percent of the national population, but 30 percent of people arrested, 41 percent of people in jail, and 49 percent of those in prison. Nine percent of all black adults are under some form of correctional supervision (in jail or prison, on probation or parole), compared to two percent of white adults. One in three black men between the ages of 20 and 29 was either in jail or prison, or on parole or probation in 1995.One in ten black men in their twenties and early thirties is in prison or jail. Thirteen percent of the black adult male population has lost the right to vote because of felony disenfranchisement laws.
Please stop posting the same... exact... comment on different topics. Especially if you bring up old topics. It's fine if there are three new topics and you say it in each, but when you bring up old topics, it gets really old, really fast.
