On Monday, October 23, 2006 our family dog, Nikki, ran away. That day, none of us noticed until following morning. She's usually walking around looking into our rooms looking for my dog, Pedro, so they can play. She's tried a few times before but was able to get back into the gate because one of us would be home to let her in when she waited infront of the gate. From time to time the front door at our house is left open by irresponsible people (such as my sister). She would jump through the fence into the neighbors yard and go out their front gate because we blocked all the holes in our gate. She usually comes back but no one was their to let her in if she was to wait outside the gate. So we're figuring that someone took her and we're really terrified because we don't know how she's being treated. We've had her for 10 years now. Ever since my older sister started her freshman year in high school, she got that dog. and she has always been our favorite. she's the guard inside the house when we all leave. we got another dog for inside, but that was mine. it's sad because they always play together and i miss it. when anyone comes home, we're welcomed by her barking and we all miss it. i haven't told my older sister what happened just yet because we all know that she's going to go crazy. what's really sad is that my dog, he has a toy hot dog that squeaks. he never really made it squeak before on his own. but ever since she's gone, he would run around the house making it squeak. the night she was missing, i never understood why he was doing it, i just laughed when he was doing it. but the next day i realized why. and now i'll probably cry a few minutes everyday because of her gone. she was a mix of chihuahua and terrier. she was trained to sit, stand, down, up, relieve herself on the newspaper, and to understand the word no. my dog is still a baby so i have a lot of work of training him. i miss her soooo much.

Start posting up picture-signs, look around your neighborhood, etc. Loss of a pet can be a very devistating thing.
