Rumor Control: Crysis on the PS3?? MGS4 on the 360?? New Blizzard MMO????

Ive seen a few rumors going around lately so here are my thoughts

1.Crysis on the PS3 - suppossedly Gamesrader heard from workers at crytek that Crysis 1.5 is in the works for the PS3 but not the 360. its supossed to have more content and look just as good as the PC version. people have been trying to argue this since the game was announced whether or not it would come to the consoles. i said the same thing then and ill say the same thing now. Crysis in its whole will not come to either console. its possible a Crysis:insticts dealie will come to the consoles , set in the crysis world but not the actual game. neither system can handle crysis in its whole. the visual power of the systems is not the problem. problem is the memory, there simply isnt enough to stream and texture and still maintain framerates and visual quality. so either the map size would have to be cut down or it would kinda look like crap with a lot of popins and fog thered really be no point. however ill say this, if it does come however unlikely it wont be sooner rather than later, also itll most likely look like crysis on medium or maybe medium high, which is still impressive but not as much as high or very high. i would also like to point out that this is nothing new. Doom3 and HL2 which both came out withen 2 years of the xbox's release ended up on the xbox severly cut down and still had framerate issues. so if crysis does come it will be watered down.

2.MGS4 to 360 - I really dont see this one happening, at least not at the launch of MGS4, sony relly needs MGS4 to compete against the 360's flagship Halo3, so they will fight hard to keep it exclusive. as a matter of if the 360 can handle it, i dont see visually why not but the whole DVD9 and HDD thing comes into play so i dont think itd work. MGS4:substinance on the 360 and PC is a more possible option. although on the 360 itd most likely have multiple disks.

3.New Blizzard MMO - Blizzard has come out and stated the next MMO project is not releated to WOW or warcraft at all, nor is it likely it's a Starcraft MMO seeing as how SC2 is on its way. most likely its a Diablo MMO which makes perfect sense. the original diablo and II had online play with up to a few people an MMO with it seems the next logical step. also action RPGs trend to make the transition better to MMOs so hopefully well see an announcement about it soon enough.
