I watch

Just another soul drowning
I watch...
From a shaky dock I sit
My toes
  splish
    splashing
in your sorrows

Nothing but a drunken slur
Your silhouette just floats around..
And I watch...
   plunging
      plummenting

Your dreams gasping for air
your mind struggling to float
I watch you...
swallow problem after problem
bottle after bottle
gulping full years of fears

Currents of depression
pull you further away
And I watch you
   sink
     sinking
Now nothing but a blur...
