This blog is mainly focused on suicide and not on abortion.
Suicide is a funny thing, we never chose to be born (not in this life at least) but yet here we are, and if we don't want to be alive anymore and as grown consenting adults want to end our lives, we are told that we cannot? this doesn't really make much sense in my minds eyes. no I believe that a grown adult should be able to choose to not be alive anymore, there should be some regulations on this however of course
should the person have children under the age of 18 it shouldnt be legal. you have a responsibilities to your dependents that you formed by your choice.
the ending of life is something I believe all healthy minded adults are entitled to do, I don't believe its ethical to kill yourself in a public manner in front of other people via jumping off a building or is it fair to kill yourself and leave your body to be discovered by your child or loved one. to end your life is your decision and should be done in a humane way, with the assistance of others if you feel that is needed.
just my take on that, feel free to share thoughts.
briefly let me state that I believe there is a difference between Morally and Legally, I dont think its moral to end your life when you are young instead of overcome the struggles we are here in this earth to endure, but I do think it should be legally within their rights. its not moral in my mind to watch porn but legally I see nothing wrong with it.

There have been a few people that feel the same way as you do. Personally, I never understood the mindset behind criminalizing suicide, other than as a potential, albeit ineffective, deterrent.
It's ultimately the choice of the individual to take their own life. However, it does affect others. The memorial post(s) to Kiota are a good example of the effects the end of a person's life (whether or not they took it themselves) can have on other people. That should be taken into considering when deciding to end one's own life.

well the point is that you shouldnt take your own life, but it shouldnt be illegal either.
Who's to say whether taking your own life is right or wrong? It's the decision of the individual.
It's only "wrong" in this country because we as a culture are afraid of death.
Reply button works wonders, by the way.

well god gave us life and our bodies its a little ungrateful to throw them away. and sure if you dont believe in that then I guess there is nothing negative about it execpt that you arent being very grateful for parents who raised you and gave you food and shelter.
Again, it's only because we as a culture are afraid of death.
For the cultures that aren't afraid of death, it's one of the most honorable things you can do.

having something worth living for isn't being afraid of death.
I don't understand why the legality of suicide matters. If you are going to kill yourself, why would you care if it's illegal or not? Are you going to go to jail when you're.....dead? I've never heard of anyone pressing charges against a dead person for committing suicide. We have a right to own guns, bleach, ropes, knives, painkillers, and a billion other ways to kill ourselves.
