You know, I really don't like it when parents get divorces because not only is hard for the parents, but its much harder on the children. Why I brought this up is because my parents are divorced and their divorce is hard on me because I can't do things that I used to do anymore because of it like going shopping, etc.. In addition, I live with my mother and sometimes I get tempted to get angry at her for this, even though I keep telling myself no because she had a right to divorce my father because he has a drinking problem, was irresponsible with paying his bills, and forged my mother's signature on his credit card applications. But still, I wish I could still do things that I used to do before my parents got a divorce.

nowadays there are many couples that et divorced. the family concept is not what it use to be. and, as you said, kids are often the most affected.
Well It's hard on both. But remember that she did what was best for you. She does not want you to get hurt. Maybe you can do much more fun things now. I'm sure a life with a drunk was not all that happy.
Divorce is hard. I think that now-a-days our vows mean next to nothing.
