To Stay Or Go?: Jamie Reno decides

Jamie Reno of Newsweek lives in San Diego with the wild fires around his home. The Witch Creek fire is headed south, being the fire closest to Reno's house. In 2003 the Cedar Fire had 50 foot flames just a few blocks from his home. So he and his wife are trying to save their home on this go around. They've left home once or twice when it seemed the flames were headed toward their home, but when safe they returned home. They haven't been notified to evacuate yet so they're going to try and ride it out. Thorough it's hard to just grab a few things and leave home; I think I would just evacuate to a safer location. Because you can't trust a wild fire to stay put especially when there are four fires near by your home.
