Hello.
I found this site through a scholarship search. The idea is pretty cool, blog a bunch, comment and you could get some money.
I like music, reading, message boards, school, video games, winter, going to the beach, etc.
I am currently dealing with a large amount of stress and I hate my job.
Hmm, I didn't realize there is a word count minimum. What else can I give away. I'm the oldest of five children. I have a cat. I live with my boyfriend. I am tired of hearing about the war in Iraq, which is probably what the government is hoping for. Well that or for me to start supporting it, which will not be happening. I am confused about the presidential candidates. I like chipotle. I use a mac. I'm interested in Bauhaus (the movement, not the band). I only know one song on guitar, motion picture soundtrack by Radiohead. I'm an aunt. My current favorite artist is Delacroix. I've only beaten two video games. Kingdom Hearts 2 and Yoshi's Island. I am obsessed with office supplies...such as post-it notes.
I will have something to write about next time.
The hint of a spark.

lol it's true. This is a good idea on paper. But the people that run it are pretty biased, so watch out. They favor certain bloggers*ahem ediblewoman* over others and do nothing about TOS violations against moderators. I just like seeing how every other featured article was by her a few weeks ago.

Welcome! I'm somewhat of a noobie as well.
I found this site through Fastweb, and as soon as I saw 'Blog for scholarship money" I was like "Where do I sign up?!"
However, there IS a catch. Blogs like these won't be counted in the contest. The blogs you write about must be about something progressive. Something debatable. You can blog about current events, politics, the possibilities are almost endless. As long as you can take a topic and back what you're saying with information, it's all good.
Also, there's a box below the catergories bar that says stuff like "Broad prosperity, Personal Freedom, etc". You must choose one of these for every blog you write in order to make it count in the contest. Don't ask me why. I don't even know what they mean. Most of the time, I just guess.
Anyways, good luck and have fun blogging!

So what are you confused about with the presidential candidates? It's the Maverick vs the Hope Candidate, as far as the media narrative will be concerned.
