Once Upon a time people settled in a foreign land hoping to start over and live a new life. The years passed and through their hard work and dedication much progress was made. Eventually they had to fight their oppressors in order to live a free life. Though the odds were against them they won, and decided to call there new home the United States of America. The years passed as this new nation conquered its problems little by little.
Many people considered this country a Gigantic melting pot where anybody can come in and do as they please (which is true to an extent). However, there is a chef in charge of the melting pot to decide which ingrediants should and should not be in the pot. He makes his best decision so the stew or formula will turn out as well as possible. Ingrediants shouldn't be able just to sneak into the pot without the chef putting them there, because they don't belong there. This is like adding poison to the stew, now everything is disordered, as the chef tries to take those ingrediants out. Then his children come and tell him just to leave them in the stew, and they will eat it and like it better. However, the chef knowing it is poison tells them no, we must strain the stew so it will be healthy and benificial for you.

Sarcasm aside, I have one question. While I agree with you, because I don't think that people should enter our nation illegally, I wonder what makes you think that our "chef" knows best?
That sounds a little snide, and a bit like I'm an ass, but I don't intend it to. It is simply that I do not think that any one person knows any better than any other.
It solution to ingrediants sneaking is to, as you said, "strain the stew," but not just for Mexicans. For all illegals. If they would like into our country, they should have to do it legally.

Sieg heil to you, too. Why is everyone so obsessed with people on the other side of an invisible line? You should be fighting the good fight for welfare reform so that there'd be no assistance program that's so appealing (and costly).

Chef should be paid a visit by the health inspector and indicted along with his comis chefs for tainting the stew with Ecoli and trying to force feed it to the world. Chef and his loyal patrons are the largest source of food poisoning the stew has ever known, I just hope the next Chef isn't quite as callous or disgusting.

I agree.
Our chef never did that well in culinary school. He gets ingredients and recipes confused. The only reason he became a chef is because his dad was a chef.
Hug a musician, they never get to dance.
Also, that 'a' doesn't belong in the ingredient.

The chef unwittingly has horse meat in his stew; trojan horse that is. Undoubtedly will blow up in his face as if he were using a pressure cooker.

I like how there are no Native Americans in the first part of this lovely story. I know people love to forget about their massacre and pretend that European settlers were first to arrive here.

The indian was only down and out for a short period of time. Travel in the midwest and you'll see the Indian taking back the white man's wompum.

The chef doesn't have to be the president. The chef is Uncle Sam. It doesn't matter what their nationality is, if their ILLEGAL they shouldn't be here.
Why should we have to pay welfare for people that don't even belong in this country?
Why should we have to pay welfare at all? Kill two birds with one stone...
