I know the people who normally read my blog are used to me talking about obama or the presedential election but I just have to get this off of my chest. I spoke to a friend one day, well it started out as speaking through the heat of the argument in quickly manifested into yelling, any how, he said that he wasn't homophobic he just didn't believe in gay rights or gay marriage. Now later on in the "discussion" I got him to admit that he was indeed a homophob, a homophob who enjoyed sleeping with bisexual girls no less, and when i learned that i simply voided everything he said throughout that whole argument from my mind. His opinion, although meaning nothing to me, did stir up questions in my mind. I wondered if any of my other friends or associates were homophobic. I asked my friend if she would still be my friend if i told her i was gay. Her reply? A simple honest no. In reality it was more of a "HELL NO!!!" but i digress. I wanted to ask as many people as possible so.... Well it got me to thinkin' and it led me to what shall be called my Question Of The Week.
So Here Is A Serious Question And I Need For All Who Read To Answer Seriously For It Could Be The Determining Factor In The Possibly Destructive Choices Of A Young Boy Or Girl.
If I was homosexual, would you still treat me the same?

I wouldn't treat you any different. I am not easily offended, and I previously had a girlfriend, but as long as you agreed not to cross that line of assuming anything, I would be fine wiith it. As a respectful friend I would assume you wouldn't cross that line. I don't believe someones sexuality changes their personality, if anything I would have a more open friend, and probably a happier one at that, so it's a win win for me. I don't believe anything should change and if it did, they were not a friend in the first place, period.

Last time I checked, "I'm homosexual" didn't mean "I sprouted horns, started sacrificing children and ran your dog over." So, yes. If you were homosexual, I would still treat you the same.
