I want to introduce you guys to the chess game bughouse. It is a 4 player 2 chess board chess game. Its based on speed as players have to play really fast to keep up the pace of the game. The rules as far as how the pieces move are exactly the same as in regular chess. However, since there are four players and 2 boards, there will be two teams. When one player takes a piece from the opponent, he gives it to his partner. (You and your partners have alternating colors). The partner can use that piece anywhere on his board. He can place any piece anywhere on the board with the exception that the pawn can not be place on either of the back rows and you can not place the king the checkmate. Other than that, anyone can place any piece anywhere. There is a unspoken rule that if one of the players does not move within 10 seconds, the opponent can move. This prevents the players from waiting for their teammate to win if they are in a precarious position. Also by installing this rule, the opponent will not be able to wait for pieces that they need from their partners.
