Anymore, phrases like that are all I hear at school, and why is it so common for everyone to gossip? I mean I am one to listen to all that juicy stuff, but anymore I realize why talk about people all the time all it does is just create more and more drama.
Girls these days are just getting worser and worser, lately I realized that I have one true friend that is a girl because her and I have never once gotten into a pity little fight over boys and that is patethic. I can think of several good friends that I have had that because of rumors and gossip they decided not to talk to me anymore when none of it was true. For instance my best friend got into a fight with one of her friends..and the next day that same friend went to my best friends enemy and started spreading rumors and making things up.
Because of all this, I am at the point of wanting to rush High School and just get it over with. I love going to school and seeing all of my friends but I am tired of hearing people stretch the truth and make more drama such as someone could have rear ended someone and had no injuries but by tomorrow the rumor would get out that oh so and so got into a wreck and is now in a coma.
I am not being hypocrticial about this because I sometimes find myself caught up in gossip, drama, and rumors..but lately I just ignore everything i hear because I am so fed up with it.
Is anyone else as fed up as I am?

Guess what? You are prolly a senior and just sick of 4 long years of immaturity. . .THATS ALL! I think its like that @ every high school.
They aren't getting "worser and worser", even if that was a word, they are just as bad as they ever were. You haven't ever experienced it, so you think it is worse.

Maybe there is a reason for all the rumors...to not believe in anything you hear and to not talk badly about people...how about spreading rumors that are compliments! High school is a hard time and we go through so much in these 4 years. Some kids have nothing better to do with their lives or don't know what they want in life or who they are. You should be lucky and proud that you are not like the people who are always talked about. But then again, don't talk doodoo (not sure on swearing rule on this site)about other people, because who wants other people to talk bad about them? Maybe they need some help in realizing what they're doing is stupid.

i get sick of the superficiality too. i guess it's a cycle though. i gossip probably more than most people cause i listen to it so much.
I'm also fed up. It's not so bad now that I'm at a better school. But kids would try to push my buttons at my other school for not letting them cheat off my paper during tests and stuff.
I also lost some friends to rumors.
I agree with you. It seems like every year this gets worse. I have one girl that I can honestly say is my best friend. We have never fought about stupid stuff like guys or things other people say happened. Is it only like this with girls or is it guys too??
