"Is racism something that we can prevent?"
I not only believe we can prevent it, but more over I believe it should be tackled by all means possible, because it still is a commonly ACCEPTED social cancer which sadly enough is still very much projected upon young kids throughout education, many are in need of proper guidance.
Kids growing up which have no clue upon how to handle or deal with this form of cancer, and will eventually end up in becoming affected in such degree making them to become sick.
Their inspiration, dreams, future and life joy gets caught inside a whirlpool of negative and confused emotions.
This cancer jeopardizes their focus and concentration during their school education making them to run behind, while a loss of self-esteem grows out of it.
When this cancer is not treated properly, the ones subjected to it are more likely to start showing hateful emotions towards their loved ones, meaning, their own parents because they are the one’s which have brought them to life and inside this world, their (other race) friends which are not subjected to the same treatment and therefore unaware of understanding this pain carried inside.
Hateful they also become towards themselves having no desire to be part of this world any longer, a world or environment which seems to be blind and ignorant to their endured suffering of injustice.
To understand why it is much alive and flourishing is not hard to understand. We feed our own children with racism on a daily basis throughout media and more important parental and schooling education.
The degree in which this takes place is for the least to say, not far from ridiculous!
Racism is a well know and popular tool in order to vent frustration upon people with a tan, people with a tan being the most easy and well-known victims of racism.
Although other forms of racism see the light in regard to white’s, but this is a completely different topic.
The main reasons for racism to be a reality are nested or to be found in so called status (ego) and sexuality (ego) which are the driving forces behind this cancer.
Some individuals that linger in societies are walking around with ego’s which are ready to burst, they walk around with an artificial self-esteem which they need to project upon others in order to feel or create an identity of importance around their figure.
Most of these individuals luckily limit themselves to buy a car which they can hardly afford, while others walk around with a sexual frustration they unwarily carry within.
The fact is that those individuals carry deep frustrations, they mostly suffer from a lack of affection during childhood having in many cases been brought up in a nest were domestic violence inflicted by their (proud) father upon their mother never got untangled out of their emotional state.
Racism is nothing more than undermining the self-esteem of another while enjoying the effect it brings up. It provides a mental rush which sadly enough can become an addiction.
The problem with any addiction around is that it can become a problem!
Action vs consequence
While walking through life with a racist attitude was much fun in the old days because it was allowed without boundaries and therefore done in excessive ways just to amuse crowds and in more disclosed ways a way to relief of sexual frustration.
To torture, rape and kill was common practice by many to draw the line of status and more important to keep this line in place.
Although it has moved towards a more equal balance, to keep this line in place is still the biggest issue around racism and reason why it’s still alive and kicking.
This is caused and sustained by politics and religions playing at their best behind the dirty curtain.
Anyhow, in order to deal with racism there is a need to create role models, these role models provide a platform upon which people can mirror themselves.
It will bring the necessary strength to overcome the hurt of turning into hate.
Proper and deep topic schooling education is the key to bring understanding were it is most needed. Parental education will follow with generations that have received proper schooling education.
With racism it doesn’t work the other way around, it needs to be tackled in a situation where all individuals (pupils) share the same educational program.
If schools would put more effort in breaking all taboos which hang around black, Chinese, Hispanic, Indian or whatever color or shade which might be around, it will affect all pupils one way or another regardless if some parents bring or stir up racial hate within the boundaries of their homes.
"Do you believe racism will ever go away?"
Yes, but!
Any society which allows individuals to be part of an organization which sole purpose is to promote the cultivation of cancer amongst it surroundings, while setting its goals to beat or torture to death individuals they randomly come across or pick out because they don’t seem to carry or match the same shade of color, is to allow trauma to arise and grow out of proportion together with its goal.
A goal inspired by frustrated individuals which will become even more tolerated when conflicts will occur and rise out of what they have created.
To handle and eradicate extremes which fuel hate, is a choice worthwhile to consider and to have a better look upon, it is clear many are drawn towards an evil past which almost once before changed the face of the earth while the trauma it brought inside our history still lingers throughout the hearts of many which suffered loss, or lived it to tell us still today, nothing matches that hell.
To await chaos to arise out of something which is already causing trouble and trauma, which is openly organizing itself internationally, while gaining in popularity because it uses exactly the same methods which were applied and put in place before, shouldn’t make one wonder where this will lead too when the time is right to cause, create or put in place a conflict which will lit up what we all fear most!
To allow this, is the same as already accepting it will never go away!
We are upon this planet to create and give form to our dreams, and if you’re not being successful in realization, it doesn’t mean one has to leave this place leaving a trail of trauma, out of frustration.
How shameful is that, life is not about one’s color, but value one embraces and creates out of tolerance!
Love prevails all crap, even racism!

I really like the parts when you touched on how racism is linked to education. Not only are children taught by their parents to hate, but teachers too. I see it as an imperative that teachers work to correct such misinformation no matter what subject they teach. When students make such hateful comments, it should not be ignored.
Thoroughly great blog!

Yes, you are right, people need to realize it is affecting each and every one of us.
A youngster walking through the day after having been humiliated or insulted loses his focus upon what is important. They become consumed with negative thoughts, thoughts which are affecting their emotional state.
Parents expressing racism is very common, both of my parents are racists, although not in any radical hateful way, but they are both strongly affected by the living room God speaking out!
Now more than before they have become more mild in the way they express themselves. (I sometimes make them think deeper by bringing up other (fresh) points of view, lol)
I have noticed on many occasions, the same takes place in other families too. It is changing with younger couples raising kids, but the process is slow and misfortunes which create global waves like 9/11, undermined much which was achieved already.
I believe the best place to tackle racism is in school because it is the best place for kids to learn in creating a mind of their own in regard to many aspects that turn around and inside of our social lives together.
Many parents seem to forget evolution make youngsters to live new realities which not always align with their own past experiences.
After a certain age many parents become mind stuck, not in a negative way but they don’t seem to grasp what’s going on around the lives of their own offspring any longer.
Time will make us to melt into more beautiful people with even more beautiful hearts which will uplift us all together out of this cancer.
Thanks for the kind and inspiring comment,
