Wow. College is expensive, I mean colleges seem to have finally figured out that they can make money off of education. Like my father lives in Michigan, I was born in Michigan and my parents have joint custody but since I am graduating from a high school in Texas where I am not from I have to pay out-of-state tuition to go to college in Michigan. And it is about $10,000 difference in price, I mean how is anyone going to be able to grow and learn and experience a different lifestyle if the problem is no longer getting accepted into a higher state of education but not being able to afford the afore mentioned education.

You pay $10,000 for being an out of state student? That is a rip-off. what is the difference, just beacuse you come from another state? Maybe you can rent a place and become a resident of Michigan (not sure if you can) I wish you luck...
I feel your pain. I live about 1 hour from the California Stateline and closer to some Southern California schools than students in the northernmost parts of California, and yet I still have to pay out of state tuition, which is a huge difference in costs.
College's get more revenue...
Each time an out of state student enters a college, the college receives money for that enrollment. Yes, I realize that it is costly for the college to provide teachers and books for students. When will there be a break of relief for those who are willing to sacrifice to make life better for themselves?
I am going to an instate school. There is no reason not to and its cheaper.
I am going to go back to an in-state college and it still expensive.I guess you sure have to pay for you education that is for sure.
