What are your beliefs? Do you acknowledge that life on Earth was created? Do you know that your textbooks present things as facts that are only theories? Are you open-minded? Is there a god? Did Darwin admit that his theory turned out to be proved wrong even in his lifetime? If you're strongly left or right-winged, I suggest you become more tolerant. And if you set yourself aside from the debate, I suggest you get into it. It's your future. Your now. How old is the world? Why does it matter? Can't I just get drunk this once? Where did morals come from? Did they evolve, too? Why would God put us in the midst of so much evil? Noah didn't really put animals two by two on the ark.... did he?
I lie in the middle of the debate. I'm a pawn. I'm putting my life and future in your hands. It's your job to save my soul or to set me free from chains that tug at me. If it was your responsibility to change someone's fate, could you? Do you accept that you have that much influence over someone? Now is your chance to find out. Ready. Set. Go.
Edit-- I suppose this post seems a little lackadaisical, but I'm a victim of doubt and frustration. I'm asking for persuasion. It's your opportunity to persuade.

I am of the opinion that you should believe whatever you want. However, before dismissing religion completely, I suggest that you give it a try and explore all your options before you decide.
A family friend of mine sought to find the best religion for himself. He spent years studying a number of religions until he found the one that was the best for himself. He studied Islam and Christianity among others. In the end he decided that Buddhism made the most sense to him, based on the principles of how he led his life. I respect his decision, because he found what was right for him.
For others such as myself, I did not have to do much searching. Although I grew up in a Catholic household, there was a lot of exploring I needed to do before I decided that my religion was right for me. It took me a while and years to learn about my faith and to disspell and learn for myself the rumors and taboos about the Bible and Catholics. In the end, I am pleased with my decision. I see that God will love you no matter what you do.
I encourage you to read what people comment on your post and to look more in depth on your own and to explore the possibilities that are out there. Most of all, I encourage you not to disbelief until you are informed.
If you would like to, check out my blog about how understanding God is. When you read about the tradition I wrote about, you will get a glimpse of why I chose the religion I did, because of the understanding that God has with us humans, the understanding that we make mistakes and that we sin. Sometimes you don't get that same understanding from your parents, your friends, or even yourself.
