Your atrocious spelling and lack of punctuation and capitalization makes me want to pull my eyes out with my bare hands while screaming, "Go back to your freshman English class, you moron!"
I feel like that a lot of the time.
When I go through posts on this site, Blogger, LiveJournal, or anything else, I find myself pulling my hair out over misspelled words, lack of punctuation, and general misuse of grammar. I hate it, because I can't ever go through reading something without thinking "That's spelled wrong!" or "The comma doesn't go there, stupid." It's really getting bad.
Before I start getting "You're not perfect!" comments, let me say that everyone makes mistakes. Even I do, and I admit to it. The occasional mistake can be overlooked and ignored, but most mistakes are made out of pure laziness, complete apathy, or just sheer stupidity. It saddens me, really, that I would even have to write a post like this. You should love the English language; use it, don't abuse it!
Maybe I'm just biased. I'm an editor for the school newspaper. I'm an immaculate speller. I'm an author. I know my English. I think that if you don't know how to use it properly, you shouldn't be allowed to use it at all. That's just my opinion.

I'm one of this generation that can use shorthand in texting and IMing, but I still know how to use proper English in my writing. And I feel the same way when I read things that have poor grammar and spelling. (I won a spelling bee in 8th grade) :D
There is a time to live, and a time to die. But now it the time to break it down!
I use some shorthand in my texting, never in IMing -- though I don't capitalize when I IM. For me, texting and IMing are a different story and don't usually get on my nerves.
I'll be in my newspaper class and someone will hand me an article and there have been times where I hand it off to my advisor, shake my head, and say, "I can't read this. You do it. It makes my brain hurt just thinking about it."
In the 4th grade, I won the spelling bee in my class three out of four times. The third bee we had, I got second place because I couldn't spell "unbelievable." I will never forget how to spell it, either! :]

I do not shorthand in my texting, but I will in IMing and other "informal writing" situations, like notes to a friend. Even then, I tend to keep it to a minimum - "lol", "lmao", "idk" "I dunno", "idc", etc.
I refuse to read papers where the spelling/grammar mistakes are often, obvious, and bothersome.

The "lol," "lmao," "lmfao," "idk," and "idc" are the ones I generally use. Like I said, I don't capitalize much in IM, either -- but it's pure laziness, and it's just between me and a friend, so I don't care that much. Nevertheless, I am always sure to use correct spelling and punctuation!
Luckily, being managing editor of my paper, I can turn to my advisor and/or my editor-in-chief when I can't manage to read an article. It works out wonderfully; we're like a well-oiled machine!

Never go to teach English in China. There, they abuse every language and don't care.
