Screaming to get your voice heard

Just the other day I was sitting in a court house lobby during a visit , and I just sat there listening to all kinds of conversations. But the one that peeked my interest the most was when a well known political figure came in to do some sucking up. To cut down on the story the conversation was over getting money for a campaign. He was asking who would give him the most donations. The other person tossed some names out to him , and they both where taking about what they could do for them when he gets into office.

Now this upset me in many ways. Wouldn't it be nice for once that the campaign be about the people and not the money. The world would be a better place if we didn't need to rely on money. Think about it , money is the main reason our government doesn't work right.People fall to their knees at the sight of money and will do anything to make a buck. Money is the main cause of greed, hatred, and war. It is the main reason for every war that has ever been fought.Heck, America won it's freedom in a war that started over taxes.WW1 started because of imperialism for resources and wealth. Our government was sent up on a money based system and money equals greed. As long we have money we have greed and as long as we have greed our government won't work right. So basically the people with the most money has the most say in our government , is what that certain political figure was saying when he asked what he could do for those people who donated to his campaign.

To sum up why I wrote this blog , I'm tired of screaming to get my voice heard just because I don't have a lot of money to influence the government. It is time for a change!!!!!!!!!!

I wrote an essay about how money is a contradiction to democracy.

Ordinary everday hardworking Americans can't all run for president because of the fact that they need millions of their OWN money to run.
(1) firstly, the candidates themselves have to put a lot of their own money into campaigns in order for others to do the same for them
(2) secondly, within those candidates are levels of wealth, and only the wealthiest could put it up to the end when in reality, the less wealthy could have been better leaders had money not been an issue
(3) because of the amount of money used in campaigns, the candidates with the most of it get to advertise to people, but people don't get to know what else is going on with other candidates who don't have enough to advertise as much
(4) so is it a democracy when people are expected to vote but they don't know the whole story because they know only what money pays for? I don't think so.

You are right. Money should have no place in government elections IF IT IS SUPPOSED TO BE FAIR!!
