"Have you ever wanted something so bad that you will cheat, lie or fake your way to get that one thing?" The answer is absolutely not. It is never worth it. I do not care what it is.
A materialistic person would lie to get what they want. I would have my family and friends then any one item. I am selfish in some circumstances, but not so selfish that I have to lie or cheat my way to get that thing. I work hard for what I want and I am proud of it.
Boys, the opposite or the same sex. I know plenty of girls/boys who change them selves just to get that one "hottie". Why would you ever change your self for someone? You will eventually show your true self and then what will they do? They will end up breaking your heart! So why not just be your self and wait for someone to come to you? I have tried to change my self for certain boys and ended up getting my heart broken. It is not worth it at all. Now I am incredibly happy with one boy and he likes me just the way I am.
Tests or grades. Do not cheat off my test or anyone else's tests because most likely you will get caught or you will cheat off the wrong person. That person you are cheating off of is probably just as stupid as you and did not study. Do not put other people in jeopardy because you are too lazy to study for that test.
ELECTIONS! ARGH! This is my biggest pet peeve. CHEATING, LIEING AND FAKING YOUR STUPID SELF THROUGH AN ELECTION! I have been through many elections. I have never went over the spending limit; I have never lied about some promises that I was never going to be able to make and I did not change my self or try to be fake to win over just a few peoples' vote. There are plenty of more people who are going to vote for you that would rather you be a real person. Who cares about the popular people? BECAUSE GUESS WHAT! This is not the seventies or eighties anymore. The head cheerleader isn't so popular anymore. More people would rather see her be so embarrassed. "Regarded with favor, approval, or affection by people in general" is the definition for popular given by dictionary.com. The nice girls and not the pretty girls are going to be the popular ones. It will always work out like that.
So here is my lesson for the day: BE HONEST AND BE YOURSELF AND YOU WILL GET A LOT FARTHER IN LIFE!

lol I had the same problem. I tried to do it. I still feel bad about it. These things leave you with the worst feelings ever! I hope someone who does it all the time read this so they know how ridiculous it is. At the same time, you should know that people will do whatever it takes to be the best. They want to be admired and to be loved, whether it's through grades, election, relationships or anything else in between. They will not stop if it the easy way out.
