How is the youth is being affected????

A question I ask myself all the time is how is the youth affected in this world. Adults may think that we are not affected because we do not play a large significant roll in this adult ruled society. but, personally, to my point of view, i strongly disagree. the youth make up a large percent of the population and also play a large roll in the economy. what did you adults think that we dont shop and spend money?? Please!! Think about it.
Sorry if in my blog I may come out the wrong way, but i am just going to be open as possible. NO LIES AND GIMICS HERE.. IM KEEPIN IT A HUNDRED WITH Y'ALL!! Current events that have been affecting youths. I know this because it is also affecting me. Today in Maryland where i reside, it is election day and they said a couple weeks back that 17 year old may be able to vote, only if you will be 18 by Nov. So, i said yes what an opportunity I have. I can finally let my voice be heard. So on the day before elections, i was in my english class, and we was talking about who we will vote for and why! This is when one of my classmates made a statement which shook me. i couldnt just sit there and not say nothing when I heard that. he said that our votes won't matter. IT WON'T MATTER?? So what is the point??? I dont think that we are remedial and we need practice on how to vote!! How hard can it be? Well, i had just gave up. I did not get up to vote today and so didnt the rest of my classmates. YOU NEVER KNOW, IT MIGHT JUST AFFECT THE ELECTION IN SOME WAY. if they were to count our votes, it could have made a difference, but, that is not how it all went down.... did it??? its funny how the society thinks about American Young Adults!!!well, this is the end of this blog for today.
