Best Valentine's Day ever. And I spent it by myself.

So I just moved to Washington State about two and a half months ago, and i've kind of been talking to this guy. I kind of wanted to spend Valentine's Day with him but he worked. I knew he worked in a casino, and he always leaves his car unlocked because he has no key, so I wanted to leave him a little surprise. Little did I know that there are a ton of casinos in the Tacoma area.
I live in Yelm, WA which is about a 45 minute drive south of Tacoma. I knew it was kind of far but I decided to go on my mission to surprise this boy. I thought he had said that he worked at Emerald Queen Casino, so I had asked a classmate earlier for directions. She said it was right off the freeway and I couldn't miss it, I just had to exit when I saw the BMW dealership. So I was on my way, it was around eight o'clock. It was exciting to see new sights like the Tacoma Dome, and I spotted the dealership, so I quickly made my way into the right lane and exited. I arrived at the casino, and luckily I found parking pretty close to the entrance. I went inside and asked the receptionist if she could tell me where the employees park because I wanted to leave a little surprise for someone. She told me that they parked in the parking garage but I needed to ask security to escort me there. So I went to the security office and the man said that he could not do that. I was kind of disappointed as I started walking back to my car, when the girl at the desk called me over. She said that she was getting off of work in ten minutes and if I wanted to I could follow her to her car.
So when she got off, we walked to the paking garage. She said she'd give me a ride back to my car so we hopped in her SUV and looked around for his car. I couldn't find it. She then asked me if I was sure that he worked here. I told her I was pretty sure, but then she told me that there were two Emerald Queen Casinos. So I asked her for directions on how to get to the other location. She told me how to get there on the way back to my car, and I was kind of excited to know I still had a chance to surprise him.
I got to the other casino and found the employee parking lot.One of my very good friends from Texas that I hadn't talked to in a while called me up, and he talked on the phone with me for about an hour and half., while I was cruising thru the parking lot, looking for his car. I still couldn't find it. Now it was around nine thirty, and he was supposed to get off at ten, so I decided I would just wait for him to get off, since I was already over here. I sent him a text message telling him to call me when he got off. When the clock in my car showed 10:25 I decided to leave, because he hadn't called.
As I was leaving the parking lot, he called and said that he was really busy and he wasn't going to get off of work for a while. I asked him if he wanted me to wait for him, and he said sure. I wasn't sure what time he was getting off, but I had my laptop, and plenty of homework.
At around midnight, I got a call from him, and he asked me where I was. I told him I was in the employee parking lot of the Emerald Queen Casino in Tacoma. He then told me that he didn't work at that casino, that I was fifteen minutes north of him. So he told me which exit to get off on, but I forgot. So I exited in Lakewood, and found a little boutique that was open. I went to the door and noticed that they checked ID's to get inside. It didn't look like a sex shop, but I went inside anyway. There was a really cute security guy there, so I didn't hesitate to flirt with him while asking him for directions to the Great American Casino. He told me that he had just moved here from San Bernadino, CA because his dad was getting surgery, and he was helping take care of him. I didn't really get directions, but I had fun flirting with him.
So I just picked a street and began driving. I hadn't eaten anything all day, so I decided to stop at McDonald's when I saw one that was open 24 hours. I ordered a classic chicken sandwich and I just kept driving down that same street. At around 12:55 this guy called me and said that I should just head home, since my curfew is 2 a.m. anyway. He asked me where I was and I told him I was lost. I mentioned a couple of places I was passing, and he told me to just keep gong straight. I continued south on that street for about thrity minutes until I found myself safely at home.
