What is a blog, class? It's an online journal. And what is a journal used for? To express random thoughts or feelings or just plain ramblings. But does it have to have a point? Of course not! So what if others read it! It's just me taking advantage of my First Amendment right to FREELY express myself. In other words, if I want to rant on about a HUGE cowpie I saw this weekend, I should be able to without someone saying, "Your blog has absolutely no point. Try writing about something that matters." I thank you so much for the comment, but please refrain from telling me what to right about. I wouldn't tell someone who wrote about how much they love eggs to write about something that has "substance". That's their right to write about whatever they feel they want everyone to know. So, whoever you are that left that comment, my point is (in case you didn't get it) I CAN BLOG ABOUT WHATEVER I FEEL LIKE!!!!!!! And thanks to that person who stuck up for me!

Blogs on sites designed for personal use are in that nature. This site, however, is a nonprofit organization that promotes progress, thought, and being open to new ideas. Yes, you can blog about whatever you feel like, but it might be a good idea to do it on a site that isn't designed for progressive writings only. That's why they call it "ProgressiveU". It's a place to discuss progress.
