AHHHHH Gas

Tagged:  •    •

This is just a quickie, but......

I HATE THE FACT THAT GAS HAS GONE UP YET AGAIN!!! WHY GOD? WHY HAVE YOU FORSAKEN US ALL WITH THESE RIDICILOUS PRICES?! WHAT DID WE DO? WHAT CAN WE DO?

I KNOW BLAME BUSH. I'M GOING TO BLAME BUSH. BECAUSE NOW WHAT LITTLE MONEY I MAKE AT WORK BECAUSE I'M A GRAD STUDENT SO I ONLY WORK 20HRS A WEEK WILL BE EVEN MORE LIMITED. A GIRL NEEDS TO EAT AND BUSH WON'T LET ME. AND I LIKE TO EAT. FOOD IS MY FRIEND. AND NOW I CAN’T DO IT BECAUSE OF GAS. G-A-S.

WHY CAN'T CARS RUN ON WATER? I CAN DO WATER. THE PLANET IS 75% WATER. AND IT’S RECYCABLE. IT EVAPORATES AND COMES BACK DOWN AFTER HEATED.

I HATE THESE PRICES, BUT I HATE PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION EVEN MORE. I ALWAYS END UP NEXT TO THE STINKY PERSON OR WORSE THE PERSON WITH SOME TYPE OF MENTAL ILLNESS THAT DECIDED TO STOP TAKING THEIR MEDS AND ARE RAMBLING UNINTELLIABLY. I COULD TRY TO RIDE A BIKE, BUT YOU KNOW WHAT I LIVE IN OHIO. IT’S COLD IN OHIO RIGHT NOW SO I CANT DO IT. AND I’M TOO DARN FAT TO BE RIDING A BIKE ACROSS CAMPUS. I’M NOT SUPER BIG, BUT DARN IT I WILL LOSE MY BREATH AND BE PANTING LIKE A DOG IN SUMMER. THAT’S NOT CUTE, NOT AT ALL.

SEE GAS PRICES JUST DOESN’T AFFECT MY BEAUTIFUL CAR, IT AFFECTS EVERYTHING! YOU HEAR THAT BUSH, YOU HAVE MADE GRAD SCHOOL GIRLS LIKE ME NOT ONLY STARVE THEREFORE FALLING INTO THE MEDIA PORTRAYAL OF WHATS HOT, BUT YOU HAVE FORCED ME INTO THE COLD ON A BIKE NO LESS.

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH....I NEED A DRINK OR A GOOD CRY. I DON'T KNOW, BUT THIS SUCKS!!!

That last guy was right about the caps, but I did read a little bit of it. Let me tell you, today I had to choose between lunch or a couple of gallons of gas. I didn't want to walk home so you can tell what my decision was!

I will remember that you are a girl every time I see your blogs. It was just something about that face next to the words "I'm a girl". I like how you did that. I always get people thinking I am a boy because my name is Edie (short for Edith) not Eddie. After 40 years, I am used to it and it is not a common name, he he...

Everytime I see you comment somewhere, I think to myself that that is one gorgeous puppy you have. It's pretty distracting. ;-)

hmmmm....

I think I can forgive you.

Haha, just kidding. Of course I forgive you. There's just something special in being a girl, and I can't let anybody tell me I'm not! Heh.

Ah. I put on some sunglasses so I could read the post, finally, and I'm appalled at your reasoning for why you're upset at gas prices.

You can't walk or ride a bike around campus because it's "not cute" to be panting.

You don't like public transportation because you may sit next to someone who doesn't fit your idea of a good citizen.

Sigh.

Besides, I go to college full time and work forty hours a week... I always manage to eat, pay my bills, buy gas and groceries; even if it means sharing a ride, taking a bus, or, God forbid, walking.

It's not Bush's fault you're not eating, and I can say that for sure.

The gas prices aren't Bush's fault. Don't write in all caps. Get a more fuel efficient car. Gas costs me $10/week and I do a lot of driving. I have a 91' Honda (it's a stick) and I get great gas mileage. I just payed $3.24 at the pump.

Want to lower gas prices? Stop using petrol based plastics.

first of all: DONT WRITE IN ALL CAPS!!!! IT"S ANNOYING.
no one will read it.
second: if gas costs so much and you're blaming bush because you have to cut down on food, but are "too fat to bike around campus" then i think bush is doing you a favor. get out of your car and get some excercise.
third: your reasoning for hating gas prices is ignorant. it's not bush's fault.

Yes, the gas prices are expensive but we definitely need transportation. I have been trying to combine my trips to do more things at one time, when I go to work.

From reading the above comment to your blog, I now know that we shouldn't do them in all Caps. I am still new to this so I'm glad I learned this.

Need is a subjective term, in this context. I don't need to ever drive. I do because it makes a 5 hour walk superfluous. Also, if you've got a response, you can just click the reply button beneath each comment.

Well, thank you for your response.. I live in an area that I need to drive to get anywhere or it would take me all day to walk. There are no taxi's, like the city. I guess I should not have assumed every body needs to drive. Thank you for clarifying that for me. Have a great day.

I totally disagree with you. You have no idea how the economy works. For a reason that gas prices are so high read this http://www.progressiveu.org/165935-globalization

1. I wrote in all caps because at that exact moment I felt like screaming. I was driving down the street and saw a sign for gas that was ridicilous. So if that is how I am feeling I will do it.
2. For the record, I was being sacrastic regarding my reasons for not riding transportation or riding a bike. I am 5'7 and 160 pounds. I am not fat, I just don't like the seat up in my croutch the entire time.
3. When you are in a mood it is much easier to complain and place blame on someone or something outside of your control in this instance-- BUSH. There have been many blogs on here were people have placed their blame on God, the Gov't, or Christians.
4. And this is extended to anyone...If you do not like something I've written, in any form that I have written..Oh, well you'll eventually get over it.

By posting in a public forum, you are asking for feedback. If you don't like it, well, you'll eventually get over it. Or, you'll just find some other place to post. Telling us that we will won't make a bit of difference. And if you keep doing it, we'll keep criticizing.

The billion people in China are finally making enough money to buy cars, to drive cars, to pay for taxis. OPEC restricts the supply (sometimes they do a better job than other times) so now there is a higher demand with a stable supply, this leads to an increase in the price at the pump.

You should expect the price of gas to get worse. Prices are cyclical during the year with highs in the summer and lows in the winter.

Also, there are better ways to express your displeasure than writing in all caps. If all else fails you can simply add an angry smiley at the end of your post....
