I remember when I was in middle school, 6 years ago. Today I chaperoned my brother's field trip to the science center. It was the worse experience in my entire life. Boys don't listen and girls the cattiest ever in middle school.
Let me start off with the girls:
I had the chance to go in early and watch my brother practice for the band concert. There is this girl who lives down the street from my family. I went to school with her older sister and let me tell you this: snobs must run in that family. Her sister was a snob and her mother is a snob still. Any-who, this girl would give me looks up and down. She is thirteen years old and I am eighteen. I felt like getting up off my ass and giving her a slap across the face.
While we were at the science center, girls would say "Oh he is cute." Over and over and over again. I definitely do not remember doing that in middle school. Probably because I was a nerd :/
Now off to the boys:
I had seven boys in my group, including my brother. My brother told me that I had two of the baddest boys in the eighth grade. LUCKY ME! The entire trip, they would run off and not tell me. Get in trouble by the employees at the science center. Another chaperon had to tell them to quiet down. It was awful. The boys are just as caddy as the girls. One of the bad kids in my group was trying to go out with a girl in another group. While my brother's school was at the science center, a high school group was there as well. One of the high school boys ran into the boys girlfriend and he got mad. I said "Do you honestly think a high school boy is going to like a middle school-er?"
It was probably the worse experiences I have ever had. These kids need to raised better. Do not get me wrong, I had some pretty well behaved kids in my group. But I do know one thing: I WILL NEVER HAVE KIDS!

don't worry. being a brat comes and goes. you can have kids, just make sure that they know that you will kick their butt if they ever act like that in public. I do it with my son and he is only 1.
Yes, I don't like it when people make mean faces at me because they're acting immature by doing that.
