I am going to be a lawyer soon, and by soon I mean three years of school and passing the bar, and then VOILA! i am a lawyer! I am not probably ever going to make it big, and I have accepted that..because I want to make a difference. I often sit around wondering if I made the right choice. I am told that I would of made an excellent special educator, and maybe everyone is right. I may have made an excellent special educator, but then I would have the ability to impact a few children, with a law degree I can help that many more...I am guessing that not many people have a clue what field I would like to go into...and that is public service. The lowest paid field for all lawyers, and in my mind the toughest, and the most prestigious. I know when I go to bed at night that I did help someone out that I made their life a little better. I hope that I dont have to lie through my teeth day in and day out, but if the dice fall in that direction than i guess thats how it is. I would like to work towards a better america, and to see justice at least make an impact..so in three years..when I am sitting her (hopefully with a better lap top) I will know that i may not be superman, i may not save the world, but at least I can help, and I can try to do things that will make the world a bit better for you and me.
