I recently joined a blog site similiar to this one in the hopes of receiving that scholarship. In order to qualify for the scholarship, I had to answer two questions in less than 250 words. I thought I would post the questions and answers on here to see what everyone thought. If you have time I'd love to hear your responses to the questions. One: What would you do if you weren’t afraid?
When fear is removed, freedom and expectancy would enter my life. With the new found freedom I would have the ability to affect change in anything I am passionate about, and with the self-expectancy I wouldn't give up until my goal is obtained, no matter what obstacles I face. Knowing that, I would put my fearless energy into starting a revolution. I am not talking about guns blazing and rookie outlaws stirring up trouble. I am also not talking about a radical malitia group aiming violence and anger at the government. Instead the revolution I imagine being a part of would be a political and social hurricane with my generation at the center of it. Our storm would generate courage to think for ourselves, disregard the media trends, and debate political issues to resolve them in a positive way. I want my generation to experience a revolution that will give us a purpose, to define us as something stronger than a stereotype and something more unified than the trends of high school hallways. As the future leaders of America and the current developers of our society, I would love to be a part of the revolution that would take us from generation 'X' to a generation of positive change.
