Blog 27 [Regrets]

We all have regrets. Some are greater then others. Some are not as intense as others. Regrets come in all shapes and sizes. Some small, like when we do a bad thing for a good reason. Some big, like when you let a friend down. Many of us, do not have time for regrets. We are too busy looking forward to the future. I am one who buries my regrets, by changing the way I live my life. It has helped me once but other times it does not. Our regrets are more likely not for what we did but for what we did not do. For what we didn't say to the ones we truly care about...

My biggest regret was the ninth grade year. I was hanging out with the wrong kinds of people, doing the wrong kinds of things. I got suspended from school, failed to classes, got caught stealing and I almost ended up killing my self. The following year, I studied, did my homework and joined the Student Government. That sophomore year was the best year of my life and I will never forget it. It helped me forget that freshman year. I was getting much better grades, made new friends and did all of the right things. I would say it changed my life for the better :] I would not go back to freshman year and try to change it. I like where I am today and I thank that freshman year for it.

Do you have any regrets? I do not want to know what they are, just if you have them. What have you done to try to forget them? Was it something you did or not did? Would you go back and change what you did? IF so. how would you change it?

Yes, I have many regrets and would like to go back and change what I did, but there's too many things to mention. Furthermore, that's what I like about a new year- we can forget about the bad things that happened to us or the bad things we did and we can continue to live our lives with a fresh start.
