There must be something to say from learning from your mistakes. Maybe it's the underlining tone of "i told you so"; but nevertheless learning from things that were nothing than your own fault, hurt. I'm learning the lesson that if yu don't put everything you have into what you do, it comes back to bite you. I never really put 100% of my heart into my sports, music, academics; and now i'm sitting here trying desperately to find scholarships for school. Finding anything and everything for everyone else but me, and for everything other than my majors. Sometimes it seems that life just gives you the short stick in life. It's not always fair, and not always kind; but that's what life throws at you. My advice to all of those who are still in high school: start applying for things now! and always give 100% to everything you do; whether sports, academics, or music. When you give it your all you set yourself up to get noticed and rewarded for the things that you have poured you life and time into. And also take time to become the best at what you do. Being normal is fine and dandy, but being the best you can possibly be is the greatest. And lastly, stick to your commitments. Don't let yourself become distracted with life and all that it has to offer; because when you stick to your commitments life will offer you more and reward you more for your faithfulness. Life isn't always fair, and one can definitely learn that when they are learning from their mistakes.
