Another issue that I see young people facing is the amount of rapes that occur in the U.S. With the number of pedophiles rising, no one is safe. Teens, young adults, and children are at a high risk. Teenage girls can't even walk down the sidewalk without being whistled at or otherwise harassed. Even boys and men aren't safe against rape and sexual assault any more.
Seriously, what has this world come to? Is this the world we want our kids to grow up in? I don't think so. I don't even feel safe walking or driving alone during the day, let alone at night. Perverted men will wait in the shadows of dark alleys at night to molest unsuspecting teen girls that walk by. It's unbelievable how unsafe this place has become.
Too many people get raped, sexually assaulted, and sexually abused each year. This needs to stop. If you've been raped the best thing you can do for yourself and for everyone is to tell someone and to get the pervert locked up in jail where he won't be able to hurt anyone else. The sad part is that most pedophiles sentences are up way too quick. I think jail sentences for sex offenders need to be lengthened. They should not be allowed to walk the streets any more.

I truely agree with u on this subject. I have been both molested and raped and i regret not tellin on them because the world will never know what kind of person they are.
