Many may ponder over which is a more powerful emotion- love or hate. Both love and hate are powerful in their own terms. Although love is incorporated as being positive and hate as negative, both emotions are equally powerful and could change people’s lives dramatically.
Hate is one strong and powerful emotion that changes people’s lives on a regular basis. Hatred is all around us, expressed in many different ways. A simple rumor heard by a complete stranger could be a start of immense hatred. You would think us humans would learn from our past full of violence and wars and put every effort into stopping hatred and actually seeing the world getting better, but no; innocent people die everyday due to absurd reasons. The war going on right now serves as a perfect example. It affects so many innocent lives almost everyday. The root of all hatred is everyone striving to be the best, or in other words, competing against one another. Everyone gets so caught up in succeeding in their goal or getting their point across that they become too self-centered and start caring less about the people around them. The extremists are willing to do anything, even if getting their point across means the spreading of hatred.
On the other hand, a powerful love could bring happiness of a lifetime. Love is the one word with multiple meanings and powers. There are many different types of love in this world. There is a difference between loving someone and being in love with someone; either emotion is very powerful and immortal. Although love could lead to complications, there is usually a solution to a problem pertaining to love.
So which emotion is stronger- love or hate? There is no one certain answer to this question. Love and hate go hand in hand. Unfortunately, it’s easier to hate than to love and we see more hatred than love in this world we live in. There is no escape from hatred, but love is such an equally powerful emotion that the power between the two is balanced.
I don't think either love or hate is stronger than the other. Both are just emotions and are only as powerful as the amount of energy a person places into that emotion.
Unfortunately, people tend to place a lot more energy into their negative emotions than into their positive emotions. Some people even suppress their positive emotions for one reason or another. So while "hate" might, at times, appear stronger - it's just being fed more energy.

-it is so hard to decide which emotion is stronger. I think that is depends on a person's personality. In this world Love does not come first in anything there is too many people in this world that is filled with hatred and it hurts other people. Love is a strong word that is tender and meaningful to someone no matter which way you love someone it should always be meaningful and condering to someone else. I also think that HATE is a very strong word that just rubes me the other way but sometimes hate overrides love and sometimes love overrides hate it depends on a person and the situation. Love and Hate are both strong emotions and they can play together or play againist each other it depends on the person and their emotion towards a person or something that is making them the way they are. Sometimes people give Hatred a lot more attention than LOVE because that is the way they were rised. The more hatred someone has in them then that is what they were brought up with when they were younger or they have been around it as they were growing up and Love is the same way if you were brought up in Love then you are going to love and if you seen love then that is what you are going to do Love people before you hate them. these two emotions are the deepest emotions anyone can have and it is hard to say which on is stronger but it depends on a person and how they react to things they live with and live around.
