It seems that everyone is a lot more on edge lately. It may have something to do with the upcoming election, or the state of the economy, or the fact that everyone has gotten older and thus, grown up and are now thinking big boy/girl thoughts. Nonetheless I see a hostility in the commonwealth. In the output of hostility, I see more communication. People are coming out of their four year cocoon and speaking their thoughts, feelings, and stances on what exactly is going on around us. It's good. Honesty is good. Truth is good.
I see a generation, or a sect of the generation, of folks my age. The ones not working, or going to school, or doing anything for their goal of "Happiness", or the goal of the big house in suburbia or the pool in the back yard, but for something much more. For God? I say yes, for the others, not as much (A lot more do then I realize)...or at least not yet.
The dust of our government's "god's" war must settle first. Then again the nature of Christianity is to struggle. In dust, smoke, fire, public, government, etc.. In which while in struggle it still prevails. With hope, with kindness, with humility, with love.
Not war, not revenge. Something quite different. Something not of this world.
