Trick or treating is supposed to be amazing. My first time ever was this year. Like for real, kinda pathetic. You already know I was all about the candy!!! I also dressed up as a skanky school girl and im not sure those pics will go up (Michael will most likely kill me then) but here's the deal guys, Halloween is not a Devil holiday. If you want to go do some research and then get back to me, not just going off what your pastor says to boost their numbers on Halloween nights, I'd be delighted to listen to you because I'll have my argument prepared as well. I mean we're going around and go to this house. The guy opens the door and says, "Sorry, We don't worship the Devil." I almost showed him devil. There's a 5 year old kid and he says that? I'll give your lawn some nutrition with deviled eggs. Mess with me! but anyways yeah and then, I'm talking to people about it because my god it is a huge injustice and I just think that's so wrong. Christian people, you wonder why I don't really like you? There's your answer. You expect me to tolerate you? Not if you can't tolerate me. I'm reading a book on the wiccan religion and it's for information purposes and I got so many looks and questions. Dude, get over it. People are different. God is not real to me. You want me to know that you are a super Christian? well know right now that I'd be Buddhist before I believed you. I go to church on Sundays and am ridiculed for my mistakes. If I don't go then I have no home. Another way that religion is shoved down my throat. It's nothing against "Christians" personally, it's against how you choose to express your beliefs if you are one of the people who have argued with me about religion. Also, let me point out that arguing and discussing are two very different things. If you look down upon me I don't care, because I'm used to it. Call me a slut, call me a druggie, call me a satanist (clarification I choose to believe that organized religion is inadequate and will practice on my own depending on what I find to be the most truthful). Do not try to pull that you are better than me in any way. Like seriously guys, you want gay people to shut up? Maybe you should first. Be the bigger person and quit picking on everyone else. Get off your little basketball game of trying to win everyone to your cause.Have you noticed that those you play against always tend to fight against you harder the next time? Okay that was food for thought peoples and if you have arguments or complaints go for it, I'll gladly respond. If you take this as an attack against you then you have a guilty conscience. For your information I was actually completely covered and had more clothing on than the others i was with. i think you completely missed my point of this blog and decided that it's better to be rude than to try to grasp what it was actually about, not my choice in clothing for the night. way to go buddy.
For one thing, I was not being rude.
For another thing, do not judge my opinions, thoughts, or ideas based on the school I go to.
From your post, you did not clarify that you were fully dressed. You alluded to the fact that you were dressed like a slut, and so I [rightly and evidently so] assumed that you were dressed like a slut.
No, your point or opinion is not proven, because it was never stated in the first place.
If you were trying to make people grasp a point from your blog, it was ill-fated and poorly done.

My comment had nothing to do with your values or whether or not you should have gone trick-or-treating. Hell, I think even if you're 26 years old you should go for it, as long as you're willing to do so tastefully. You clearly stated that you went out as "a slutty school girl," and that is not in good taste if you are going to be around children.
Christian or not, it is inappropriate. If you're trying to prove a point or voice an opinion, try a little harder. Because it is not clear.

You are right that no one else has the right to judge you. This is one of the biggest faults of the Chrisitian chuch today and one that is dealt with very clearly in the Bible. Paul says not to judge others.
But you have to keep in mind that Chrisitans are not perfect (far from it, in fact) and true Christianity is found in the realization of personal sin and the need for a Savior. No one is perfect and Romans 3:23 does say that "all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God." Therefore, we are in need of a perfect sacrifice for our sins, which Jesus Christ offered to us when He died on the Cross.
Be careful to distinguish between someone trying to cram their faith down your throat and someone who genuinly cares enough about you to share with you the message of God's perfect love and salvation. There is a difference. After all, it is not that person who saves you anyhow. It is only by the grace of God that we can be saved. If you have a Bible, look up John 3:16 and Ephesians 2:8-9. In response to your comment about "if you think this is an attack...": this tells me that you have a guilty conscious yourself, buddy. I don't care to delve, because your complete lack of any tolerance for any sort of person is getting me down.
As an anti-Christian, you think every comment from a Christian is a bash on your faith. You defend your lack of faith by saying "people with faith are annoying and stupid" [or something along those lines]. Just as above, where my comment had absolutely nothing to do with me being Christian (hell, how do you even know? 1/3 of people at PLU are NOT Christian.)... you think it does, and automatically think that I hate you because of your religion.
Just because you're a slut doesn't mean that I'm targeting you because I'm a Christian. I'm targeting you because you dressed like a slut on Halloween with a bunch of kids.

I heartily concur.
I'm not a Christian and I target you for the same reason. I find it disgusting that someone would self-righteously be a poor role model for children - and worse, come here on ProU to flaunt it. Our society deserves better, and so do your parents.
