Gang Violence :'(

Gang violence in my opinion is a horrible issue in the whole world. Were I live it is dangerous and I have seen many people die up the street, close to my cousin's house, in the corner. It is very sad, I did not realize how the gang world would impact me in any way if i stood away from it, that is; until my godmother's son got shot many times and died last month. This was my friend and my godmother's son that got shot. I was shocked, I did not know what to do. The whole neighborhood knew him and he was my friend's boyfriend that I had known since Elementary School. I could not believe why such mean people would do such a thing as to hurt someone that was very well known and loved by many. That day all I saw on myspace was R. I. P and my friend's name. On the place where they had shot him there was blood splattered everywhere and in the spot where he took his last breath in the arms of his mother (my godmother) It was decorated by all the people that knew him and loved him dearly. He had done no harm to no one and that day a gang member ended his life in such a cruel way.
