Hey everyone,
I just wanted to let you all know that I'm leaving ProU. I know I've been active recently but I won't be able to maintain this blog for much longer. I am studying for the MCAT now and doing other things to prepare for medical school, and my time is limited. I have another blog at http://nosexnoproblems.blogspot.com, if you would really like to continue reading what I write.
Because I won't be able to keep up the blog, especially during the scholarship contest, I have decided to close my account. Thanks for all the comments and reads over the past however many months.

Pshh... I was helping run the site when I was studying for the MCAT and applying. And interviewing. And I'm still helping run it while I'm sitting here waiting for a decision, thinking that perhaps my interviewers think I spend too much time online.

Well, they kept asking if I had ever dealt with REAL conflicts, as if the conflicts on this site weren't important enough to them. I've certainly dealt with enough of those...

I would have bombed the interview because I wouldn't have been able to resist something snarky like um yeah... it was a major conflict when I actually had to come here instead of moderating those fake conflicts.

So, you mean all this time we've been putting so much energy in to resolving conflicts and trying to stop name calling and petty arguments before they turn into world war three, and here is all been imaginary? In my experience online conflicts are MUCH harder to deal with and resolve then most face to face conflicts, so it seems silly that they would discount what you do on ProU..... We should ask which ever of those interviewers thinks conflicts on here aren't real to stop sending imaginary conflicts our way :-)

Well, at least I'm not the only one that feels that way. Though I imagine it would be difficult to control some crazy big man that was continuously yelling at me. But I've heard I can get pretty scary when I'm mad, so maybe not :)X
